The hot water and heating systems are by gas and the controls are in the cupboard beside the Aga to the left. It is set to provide a comfortable temperature around the house throughout the day however if more heat is needed then just gently press the side of the thermostat against the + symbol to turn the heating up or the – sign to turn it down. It is a smart thermostat which allows it to turn the heating on and off throughout the day and night to maintain a comfortable temperature. The manual change lasts for 2 hours when it reverts to the default setting. The setting on the control panel for heating must be left on constant, hot water Auto. The hot water comes on in the morning and evening and there should be adequate hot water to ensure hot showers etc., if more hot water is needed then a short boost mode is available on the control panel. Please do not change the control panel settings. In the event of the boiler failing to heat the water an immersion heater is available with a switch in the boiler cupboard in the middle bedroom.
